Not just a concert. Or a ballet. Both.

The performances of the New Chamber Ballet combine the delicate intimacy of a chamber music concert with the physical exuberance of dance. Founded in 2004 by artistic director and choreographer Miro Magloire, the company favors a bare-bones approach of performing in intimate spaces with live music and simple lighting. The repertory typically consists of ballets for 1 to 4 dancers with music on piano and violin, specifically created for the company by artistic director Miro Magloire and various guest choreographers. Our artistic goal is to leave the audience completely immersed in the artistic experience, whether for a lecture-demonstration or a full performance.
