Constantine Baecher

Constantine Baecher was born in Boston, Massachussets. He began his dance training at the Walnut Hill School in Natick, MA and continued at the Hamburg Ballett Schule. In 2003 he joined the Royal Danish Ballet, where he has originated roles in ballets by Alexei Ratmansky, Jorma Uotinen, Louise Midjord, Tim Rushton, Kenneth Greve, Matjas Mrozewski and John Neumeier, as well as performing in the company's classical repertoire. He is the founder and co-artistic director of Cross Connection Ballet in Copenhagen, for which he choreographed Deportee, Aria and Anvil, Chiaroscuro and SOMA. For the Royal Danish Ballet he created The Ungentle Guest. For New Chamber Ballet, he has choreographed Wanderlust, Terzetto, Viduity, Arachnophilia, All the Rage, Sketches of a Woman, Remembering, Happy Dance of the Wild Skeletons, and Slow Dancing to Kurt Weill.
